Characters Overview

TOEM 2's journey is divided into cozy regions, each with its own quests, characters and stamp challenges — plus the friends you'll want in your final group photo.

Homelanda

Starting Region

Homelanda is where the journey begins. Its quest line — Homey Happenings — tasks you with completing all of the region's quests, and it introduces the core loop: talk to residents, help out, and photograph the local wonders.

Finish every Homelanda quest before moving on — the Homey Happenings achievement requires all of them.

Cropten

Farmland Region

Cropten is the second stop on the journey, a rural region where the Flourishing Fulfillment achievement marks a full quest sweep. Expect farmstead flavors, quirky locals and photo opportunities around every barn.

Region quest lists carry over into several achievements — keep your journal open and check remaining stamps often.

Taletorp

Village Region

Taletorp continues the adventure with the Rural Retreat achievement rewarding players who complete all of its quests. Its stories lean into the series' signature cozy, tongue-in-cheek humor.

Like every region, Taletorp hides climbing challenges and photo challenges — sweep them while you're there.

Deltburg

Urban Region

Deltburg is the busiest of the regions: the Waterway Wanderer achievement covers its full quest line, while extras include recycling all the bottles and reading every book in the Deltburg Library (Picking It Up and Scholar).

Deltburg's bottle cleanup and library reading are easy to leave half-done — do them in one visit.

Your Friends

Quest Givers & Companions

Across all regions you'll meet a cast of quirky characters worth helping. Lend enough hands and you can gather everyone for the Group Photo achievement — the definitive proof of a journey well traveled.

Some friends only appear after their quest chains are done, so finish regional stories before hunting the group photo.

Critters

Wildlife to Document

Adorable critters hide throughout every region, and your critter compendium fills up as you photograph them. The Collect Them All achievement asks for every compendium entry.

Critters often appear near quest locations — keep the camera ready even when you're just walking.
